The thing that I liked most about the personal essay is that I didn't have to do any research. It is nice not doing any research because it saves time when sitting down to write the paper. It is a story about something that happen to us. We should know all the facts and everything that happened so it makes typing the paper much faster. I also liked this because it give us the students a chance to write a story about something that happen in our lives. To me that was interesting because I got to share a story about my past with others.
The thing that I liked the least about writing a personal essay was, I wasn't sure what to write about. Thats what took the most time. It took longer for me to decided what I was going to write about then it took me to get the story out on paper.
