audience

For my paper, my audience is going to be Bob James. He is 62 years old. He is happy married. His wife and him have been married for 40 years. They have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. There youngest son, Matt, just told them that he was gay and wanted them to meet his boyfriend. Until this point in time Bob was very against gay marriage and anything to do with gay people. He couldn't believe this how could he have a gay son. How did he not know this?
